The Brightest Blue Maxi Dress

Let’s say you want new, fashionable, and great quality clothes but you don’t want to spend a whole lot. You could go to a budget chain or dig through the bins at your local thrift store but that takes a lot of time and you might not find exactly what you want. That’s where thredUP.com comes in. thredUP is a resale website specializing in practically new mainstream brand apparel for kids and women. You’ll find brands like Banana Republic, GAP, Ralph Lauren, and BCBG. Practically new means that there are NO signs of wear and tear and each item goes through a rigorous inspection by trained experts. The only difference between buying at the mall or at thredUP is that with thredUP you will save up to 80% off retail prices. I’m a big saver who loves to look good so I’m super excited to be showcasing some of my great finds from thredUP.com this week.  Go ahead and check them out! IMG_0570

I love all the things I've found on thredUP but seriously, this dress blew me away. It was the first item I put in the cart and the thing I was most excited to pull out of my polka dotted box (did you know that thredUP ships all your purchases in a polka dot covered box? How cute is that?!). In August, Nick and I are going to a family wedding out in Western PA and, even though I have a closet full of dresses, I was kind of hoping to find something new. This dress is definitely something new (to me) and very different from my usual style. When I was looking at the pictures I feel like I have a little bit of a "Kardashian" look going on. Don't know if it's good or bad but I love that thredUP helped me find something outside of my normal style and you can't deny what a beautiful color this dress is. That color and the ruffled neckline make this dress a standout that I can't wait to wear in a few more weeks.

After a busy first week of camp, I am doing exactly what I want this weekend which is nothing. The only thing Nick and I have planned is going to the fun. concert tonight at the Mann center. It's our final summer concert and it's going to be a hot and sweaty one. I'm excited to see them but I really wish we weren't going to be sweating out the last of the heat wave. This is why I just want to relax for the rest of the weekend. We may or may not head down the Shore at some point depending on the weather. I'm also hoping to tidy up the house. I just love lazy summer weekends, don't you?
