Despite Mother Nature's best attempt to stretch out our seventy degree days, it's safe to say that sweater weather is finally here. I know that a month or two from now I'll be wishing for sunshine and sand, but for now I'm ready to pull out my trunk of sweaters. The duster cardigan is one of the few sweaters I don't put away ever. It is the most versatile piece in my wardrobe; the solution for cool summer nights, a fashionable cover on mild fall days, and even over pjs on a wintery morning. When I spotted this option on the sale rack it was love at first sight. But this isn't the only duster cardigan in my arsenal: I have a darker gray option and a navy option too. When you know you've got something good, you get it in every color! Wearing a duster cardigan this fall is a must if you want to look effortless and feel cozy.

Wearing a duster cardigan this fall is not the only fashion choice I'm making. Fall fashion is such a great time to experiment with style since you can layer and mix pieces from summer and winter. Right now I'm trying to get out of my fashion comfort zone (except when it comes to this cardigan!). How do we feel about this hat? I'm not a hat person so I'm trying something new. It seems like hats are everywhere and, while I love my knitted beanies in the winter, having something on my head feels and looks weird to me. But this felt hat looked like the right thing to pair with a duster cardigan this fall so I'm going to go for it. Have you taken any fashion risks lately? Anything you think I should try?
