Wearing: My Holiday Outfit 2015
skirt: jcrew factory, shirt: gap, tights: target, booties: american eagle (previously worn here)
From mid-November to January 2nd, life is a whirlwind. From Thanksgiving meal prep to shopping for presents to every sort of holiday party, there's rarely a moment to breathe much less plan what I'm going to wear. That's why I planned my holiday outfit for 2015 months in advance. Weird, yes, but it makes it simple for me to focus on the things that really matter this time of year: friends, family, food, and good times. This year my perfect holiday ensemble is so simple, just the way I like it. This skirt is my favorite flared mini from J.Crew Factory in a tweed fabric back in September. It's holiday ready with just a hint of sparkled thread woven through. You cannot go wrong with a little sparkle during the holidays, am I right? Simple, easy, and sparkling, this holiday outfit is ready for anything.
While I was thinking about the holidays and my holiday outfit way back in September, I wasn't ready for it to sneak up so soon. With Thanksgiving next week, I need to seriously start thinking about what dessert I'll be making (my contribution to our family meal) and then how I'll be tackling my shopping list. If you know me, you know I'll be shopping local as I try to do every year! But first, any dessert suggestions?
