Merry Christmas 2015! (with some super last minute ideas!)
Today's the day! It's Christmas day! I hope you're enjoying today celebrating with family and friends. Even if you don't celebrate, enjoy the day off. Right now I'm probably knee deep in wrapping paper scraps at my in-laws and later I'll be doing the same at my own family's Christmas celebration.
In case you're still at home and have to head to a celebration later and are in desperate need of a hostess gift and/or contribution to the dinner table, here are some of my favorite recipes! Now all you have to do is check to see if and when the grocery store is open.
Yummy last minute gifts from the kitchen:
Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Almonds from Sally's Baking Addiction (wrap them in a cellophane bag with pretty red ribbon)
To bring to the table:
Curtis Stone's Guyere, Cheddar, and Bacon Mac and Cheese (because who doesn't love mac and cheese and Curtis Stone?)
Honey Butter Rolls from Sally's Baking Addiction (I swear her recipes are the easiest to read and are perfect every time)
And if you want to be the best guest: hot buttered rum and cider from Joy the Baker
