Some outfits just come together perfectly and your day is made. I have yet to find something as perfect as this ripped and cozy outfit that combines my could-I-wear-this-all-day-every-day tunic sweater from J.Crew Factory with my favorite pair of ripped black jeans. It's great for exploring small towns, hanging out in Philly, or just running errands around town.

Thank goodness this sweater is super light and airy because it's heating up in New Jersey. A sweater tunic is one of my favorite spring pieces. It's light enough that you can sit in the sunshine but warm enough for the chill after the sun goes down. Same thing goes for a pair of ripped jeans. The thing about dressing for spring is that you never know what the weather is going to be like. It will be positively freezing in the morning and then as hot as July in the afternoon. So you have to have a spring uniform: a few light layers, a pair of comfortable jeans, and a scarf. You can change it up as the day goes on but still look put together. I'm getting together a Sunday Edit of perfect spring pieces and I can't wait to share it.

It's shaping up to be the perfect early spring weekend here so I've made plans to head into Philly. There have been quite a few lists on Drink Philly and Eater and others about spots around the city for outdoor brunch spots. Is there anything better than having a meal outside while people watching? The warmer weather also has me craving some iced coffee. So you'll just have to follow along on snapchat (kendallblossoms) to see what I'm up to!
