Wearing: Green and White Team

In elementary school one of the best days of the year was field day. We competed in silly races like egg on a spoon or tire rolling but best of all we didn't go to class that day. At my small elementary school just doing an elementary or lower school field day was too small, so the whole school got in on the action for the day. Every student was separated onto a color team for our school colors: green or white. Once you were that color you were that color for life. This outfit mixing my alma mater's colors of green and white definitely brings me back. But just so you know: white team for life! Wearing: Green and White Team

This easy green and white summer outfit is what I'm craving lately. With the heat and humidity here in New Jersey, you need something casual to throw on. And since I'm working from home this summer, I can stay comfortable and casual all day long. The hardest thing about summer styling is not always throwing on a t-shirt and shorts. That's why this top from Lush (found at Nordstrom) is a great alternative. As easy a t-shirt but way more interesting and chic.

Speaking of summer ease, this season has been less easy than usual. It might be because big changes are around the corner for us or that I'm just having a hard time going from school year mode to summer time mode. What I need this weekend is whole lot of nothing. It's a stay-in-bed, drink-green-tea, watch-Netflix, and RELAX kind of weekend. Except that I'm almost finished with the latest season of Orange is the New Black (yes, I've been holding out as much as possible). So I have to ask: what are you loving on Netflix? And how do you relax during a stressful time?
