Wearing: Off-the-Shoulder Wonder

Here it is, ladies, the outfit you've been waiting for: the off-the-shoulder top. I know, I know, basically everybody and their mother is singing the praises of this "new" style. I even saw a segment on Good Morning America on ways to style them. It's trending for good reason: the off-the-shoulder wonder looks good on everyone. As the GMA contributor happily told us, the collarbone is the last place we gain weight (never thought to worry about weight gain on my collarbone but okay). I am not a lady who likes to follow the trends but this is one trend I love. Wearing: Off-the-Shoulder Wonder

It took me forever to invest in an off-the-shoulder top even though it was love at first sight with this trend. As with most of my clothing pieces, it must be versatile enough to work with multiple items in my closet. Also keep in mind a more conservative workplace. Now there are styles that show off a lot more skin in that area that are just adorable but I wanted something that I could maybe-sorta wear to the workplace (jury's still out on whether I'll make that happen).

The crochet details around the top are my favorite thing about it. I love that it has a banded waist to give it a looser look around the middle. It'll work with longer pants as the weather cools down and I'm dying to tuck it into a skirt. I'm currently putting together next week's Sunday Edit all about my other favorite off-the-shoulder tops so stay tuned!
