A Simple Holiday Dress for a Ladies' Brunch
It's been a crazy holiday season so far so I'm shaking things up with a Thursday outfit post! Today I'm excited to share with you a fun holiday photo shoot I did this past Sunday. I met up with some of my favorite Philly blogger babes Sarah of Shades of Sarah and Melissa of Skinny Affair along with our intrepid photographer Julia of Philly with a Fjallraven. We had so much fun taking photos around festive Rittenhouse Square. I seriously love this time of year in Philly! It was the perfect occasion to pull out my favorite simple holiday dress.
Though it was a bit chilly, we had a lot of fun taking pictures in front of the big tree and enjoying the festive atmosphere. To warm up and to continue the fun, we headed to Bluestone Lane over on Locust Street. It's a brightly lit and cozy café just off Rittenhouse. We popped inside for delicious lattes, brunch, and lots of conversation. Dressing up for a ladies' holiday brunch was the perfect way to spend a Sunday.
Speaking of dressing up, this simple holiday dress is just so good. While I love a simple LBD, this windowpane pattern is way more fun. Is anyone else obsessed with long-sleeved dresses this year? They add a little extra warmth for the winter weather without having to layer. Plus I'm obsessed with the ruffled edge on the cuffs and around the collar. Honestly, this is a simple holiday dress with a lot of fun. Simple and fun, just like spending a holiday morning with your ladies!
