Wearing: Winter Work Dress in Green

I have a confession to make: my winter work wear is seriously lacking. Being a teacher means working in a casual environment. I tend to be a bit more lax when it comes to purchasing items for my work wardrobe. Honestly, my work outfit today consisted of a tunic and leggings. Yes, I am a style blogger and I love clothes. But when you're crawling out of bed before the sun rises, you put on the most comfortable thing you can get away with. However, a girl can't show up to work in leggings every single day. That's when I went to plan B in comfortable winter work wear: the winter work dress. Wearing: Winter Work Dress in Green

Winter work dresses are my favorite. One cold winter mornings, you just want something easy. Dresses are one piece workhorses that can be layered and styled in a ton of different ways. I knew that I had to have this tie-front dress as soon as I rescued from my Anthropologie's sale racks. It's got that fun tie detail to keep it interesting and the straight knee length cut is simple enough to work anywhere. Even though you can't reach through the screen and feel it (which would be weird by the way) just imagine the super soft cotton. It feels like a pair of pajamas! It makes leaving my super cozy and fluffy bed a tad bit easier.

This winter work dress has everything: the perfect shape, a fun detail, and super comfortable. Another confession today: I've probably worn this five times this winter season already! So if you're looking for your next winter work wardrobe investment (or just want to get out of your leggings for a day or two), shop for a dress. I promise you're going to love it.
