But First Coffee: Shot Tower Coffee
It's back! Last year in April I wrote a series of posts about the favorite coffee shops I visited in Philadelphia and the NJ suburbs. It was so much fun to create (because duh, I have to taste test all the coffee) that I decided to bring it back again. Local coffee shops are such great places. They support their community through employment and as a gathering place. They're a place to get creative and get conversational. Honestly, I've never met a coffee shop I didn't fall in love with. The first post for 2017's But First Coffee series is all about my visit to Shot Tower Coffee in Queen Village. Shot Tower was at the top of my list for basically forever. Confession time: Shot Tower had me with every pretty instagram. It's big windows, giant menu board, and pretty little café seats are very instagram-worthy. But that alone does not make it a great coffee shop. Shot Tower has seriously delicious coffee. You can get everything from my favorite a latte (sweetened with honey) to a pour over. It's also completed by wifi, window seats for working, and a long community table with swinging stools. Shot Tower has the perfect coffee shop vibes.
