Where I Find Colorful Outfit Inspiration
Nick and I landed yesterday evening. After such an amazing London/England adventure, we're now focused on beating some insane jet lag. I'm also gearing up to go back to work. Though the school year doesn't officially start until after Labor Day, next week I go back to organize and decorate my classroom. I can't wait to share it with you all over on my Instagram story! The one thing about going back to school is that my daily outfits change quite a bit. Bye-bye tanks and shorts! The one thing I don't want to get rid of in my daily outfits is color. With the fall approaching and colder temperatures, I tend to revert back to black, white, gray, and any other form of neutral. But not this year! This year I'm relying on some colorful inspiration to keep me in color way into the fall.
While this tank top and denim outfit is so not work appropriate, it's definitely one of my favorite plays with color. I really love the bright orange of this tank and these blue earrings have been on repeat since I got them. My goal is to start incorporating more color into my work wardrobe. The first place I start looking for inspiration is, of course, other bloggers.
Three Bloggers to Follow For Colorful Outfit Inspiration
Kelly Mindell of Studio DIY
I love pretty much everything Kelly does, from her simple, colorful DIY projects to her even more colorful capsule wardrobe posts. The best part are her "What I Wore to Work" style posts where she shares her weekly work outfits. It's serious inspiration for effortlessly integrating bold colors into your work wardrobe.
Courtney Quinn of Color Me Courtney
NYC-based style blogger Courtney definitely lives up her blog's name. Every single outfit is a rainbow of color and styled in the most fun way. Many of her outfits make me say, "Oh my god, yes, why didn't I think of that?!?" Lots of the pieces she wears have ruffles and bows and other fun embellishments that make her outfits pop.
Lauren of Vandi Fair
Lauren is a more recent blog find and oh boy, do I love her vibrant style. She mixes not only colors but patterns into her everyday outfits. While much of her style is casual, there is so much inspiration to pattern mix and have fun with your clothes.
These three bloggers seriously make me question having any neutrals in my closet at all. Isn't their style so fun?!? It just goes to show you that you can wear color all day, every day.
