Getting Wrapped Up in Fall with the Perfect Plaid Wrap
After patiently waiting through September and October, I think that today it's safe to say we have fall weather. Actually we kind of zoomed past that perfect crisp fall air and went straight for the cold. But there are still some perfect cool weather days that make living in New Jersey with its changing seasons so worth it.
I like to put off putting on a coat for as loooong as possible. Though I'll admit that I dug out my watermelon pink wool coat this week because, one, I love it. And two, it may also have been just a bit necessary. BUT my skills of avoiding a real coat have led me to my new favorite: the wrap.
When you hate being too hot or too cold, the wrap saves the day. It was just on my fall essentials list because I'm so in love with it. It's like a big scarf but warmer and easier, because no bunching up around your neck.
The other thing that makes a wrap so perfect for this time of the year is that it's easy. This week I'm struggling. Part of it was spending five days in California (rough life, I know). But whenever I'm out of my normal routine it takes me a few days to get back into the swing of things. Being in California gave me this weird feeling that summer wasn't over yet. Even though everything was decorated for Christmas. What can I say, a little bit of warm weather goes a long way with me.
