Holiday Gift Guide: Shop Small From Your Couch

It is officially holiday shopping season! I’ve tackled a healthy portion of my list so I’m feeling pretty good. I am not good at last-minute shopping and I like to be prepared. Usually I have a pretty good feeling about what I’m going to buy for everyone on my list but there’s always one or two people who are a little more difficult. Keeping in mind my own shopping struggles, I’m putting together a bunch of gift guides to share over the holiday season to help you find what you need for those “difficult” people on your list.

I already started a bit with where I shop for Black Friday (and yes, I think I got something from every single place, oops). Today I’m getting you ready to shop small tomorrow for Small Business Saturday. Shopping small businesses and local businesses is something I love. Most people can (and will) buy whatever they want or need from bigger stores. It’s always fun to surprise them with something unique and the best way to do that it is to get them something from a small business. Plus, who doesn’t want to support someone’s dream?

So if you can’t get out to shop your local small businesses, I’ve got your back with these amazing small businesses that I love.

Holiday Gift Guide: Shop Small from Your Couch - wear she blossoms

Cozy Season sweatshirt, Taylor Wolfe Shop // warm +cozy mug, The Grayter Good // Molly knotted gown, Lou Lou and Company // earth tones circle statement earrings, Xenia Studio // motivational pen set, Taylor Elliot Designs // Christmas Vacation embroidered ornament, Emily June Handmade // funk planter, Moorea Seal // knotted pillows, The Sister Market // large initial necklace, Gigglosophy // baby milestone cards, Northwell // rainbow keychain, Little Arrow Shop

The Grayter Good - I love their hand-drawn prints and funky mugs. They’re the perfect gift and stocking stuffers! I love them so much I just got one of the “Let’s Stay Home” prints for my living room (and it’s so, so true).

Emily June Handmade - Emily’s hand-stitched embroidery hoops are so beautiful and I love that she has a line of small hoop ornaments, with two designs that feature National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation! Another favorite from her shop are her DIY embroidery kits which would be so fun to give to your favorite crafter.

Escape Threads - another favorite shop featuring all the beautiful embroidered hoops and banners AND she’s based in Philadelphia. If you have an outdoor enthusiast on your list or someone who likes to admire the outdoors from the inside (ahem, me, ahem), you will definitely love Escape Threads’s designs.

Lou Lou and Company - I may or may not be obsessed with all the baby things right now and Lou Lou and Company is top of my list. They have the cutest simple designs with gorgeous gowns, bow headbands, and the stretchiest swaddles. Baby may or may not have some Lou Lou and Company things waiting in her closet already.

Northwell - I discovered Northwell on my hunt for even more baby things. They have beautiful and affordable baby loungers but I’m in love with their wooden milestone cards. They’re very different from the usual cards and I know they’ll look perfect in photos.

The Sister Market - two of my favorite blogger ladies, Ashley and Shelby from the lifestyle blog As Told By Ash and Shelbs, recently opened their online store The Sister Market and I’m in love! It’s full of curated gifts that they found during all their travels. I particularly love the Scandinavian knot pillows and their line of adventure tees and sweatshirts (perfect for Instagram travel photos, duh).

Moorea Seal - I was fortunate enough to visit the brick and mortar location for Moorea Seal when I was in Seattle. Whether you visit in person or online, their store is full of unique and gorgeous clothes, home decor, art, and more.

Xenia Studio - another local-to-Philly small business, Xenia Studio creates gorgeous statement earrings from polymer clay. She has such beautiful geometric designs that are great dressed up or for everyday wear.

Gigglosophy - it seems like everybody is wearing initial necklaces now and I just happened to stumble upon Gigglosophy’s designs. They’re simple and a GREAT price point for gift giving to co-workers, cousins, or anyone who you know likes to be on trend with their accessories.

Taylor Wolfe Shop - I’ve followed Taylor Wolfe’s blog, The Daily Tay, for years and she’s taken her signature wit to create a line of clothing with fun phrases across the front. You can go as subtle as the Cozy Season sweatshirt or be more honest with Holiday Drinking Buddy one. Either way, they’re definitely fun to gift to your best friends or sassy sibling.

Taylor Elliot Designs - if you’re looking for colorful and fun stocking stuffers and gifts, Taylor Elliot Designs has got you covered. She has sweet gift sets on sale right now but my personal favorites are her motivational pen sets (another great co-worker gift) and her pom pom keychains to go on everything.

Little Arrow Shop - another super color stop for small business Saturday online has got to be Little Arrow Shop. If you’re looking for funky keychains, outrageous statement earrings, or the perfect pins and patches, you’ll find them at Little Arrow Studio.

What small businesses do you always shop online?
