Orange for October

Shirt: J. Crew, Pants: F21, Shoes: Minnetonka

It's me again! I know, seems like I disappeared off the face of the earth. But really, I've just been sucked into the craziness of being a kindergarten teacher. I feel like this is a perfect outfit for a teacher: bright and colorful, comfortable and ready for a long day of cutting, pasting, sitting and singing on the carpet, and comforting criers. Plus O is for orange and October!

I mentioned on Monday that there are changes coming for my blog and that's soon as I get around to them. It's been a hard transition to full time teaching and then figuring out how to balance the rest of my life. I've been working hard to give my kids the best time in my classroom and I know other parts of my life have been lacking. I think the word for October should be "balance" and I've got to figure out how to make that happen. Like figuring out how to cure this terrible sore throat and scratchy voice and still getting out on Saturday to a street fair in Philly. But if these are my biggest problems to balance them I think I'm doing pretty good.
