Where do you live?
I'm based in Central New Jersey, about an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia and 40 minutes to the Jersey Shore. While I love big city life, I have always been a suburban girl. New Jersey is full of so many amazing towns, you don't even need to go to the city!
What are your favorite brands?
While I love finding unique pieces from all over, there are some brands that I gravitate towards more than others which you'll see on here time and again. Some of my favorite places to shop include Madewell, J.Crew Factory, Target, and Anthropologie.
I'm travelling to Philadelphia, what do you recommend doing and seeing while I'm there?
Philadelphia is a great place to visit and I like to think of it as my adopted hometown. There are many different neighborhoods in Philly, each with its own flavor. There is plenty of history, good food, amazing art, and interesting things to do while you're here. If you need recommendations, feel free to reach out or check out my One Day in Philly series (which will be growing soon!).
What are your favorite things to wear as a teacher?
I love teaching but it is definitely full of busy, long days that make being comfortable a must. I love flat shoes that have a supportive sole, knee-length dresses and skirts, and soft, cotton blouses. My school is always too hot or too cold so every morning I layer up with cardigans or a jean jacket to get me through the day. I promise to do more teacher style posts in the future!
How long have you been blogging?
Technically, I've been blogging off-and-on for seven years. Where did the time go?!? In September 2017 I decided to rebrand from my old blog, Buttons & Blossoms, to Wear She Blossoms. The time had come to switch things up to a blog and brand that more closely fit who I was, especially after I turned 30 in June. I hope to keep blogging for many more years!
Who takes your blog photos?
My husband is my chief blog photographer. He's extremely patient and always makes me laugh so it's a win-win for me. (Plus I can pay him in beer, which is the perfect price for me!) I use a Canon Rebel T3i and it's been the perfect beginner camera. I'm saving up for an upgrade soon.
